Monday quick visit on a quiet afternoon

I hadn't been in this club in about 15 years, but have been the Vu in Lansing and Ypsilanti. I didn't expect much given that it was a Monday during the day, but was in the area and decided to check it out. I started by driving into the parking lot across the street and Little Darlings. I had never been in Little Darlings, but there was only one car there so I went across to the street to DJV. There were probably 7 cars in the parking lot so I thought it looked maybe a little promising. As I pulled in a car pulled out with 2 girls, presumably dancers, in the car.

I entered the place and it certainly had been re-done inside since my last visit. Walking past the entry area and into the club, I was greeted by a cashier who said there was a $7 entry fee. Per the receipt, it was for a $2 bottomless drink and a $5 cover. Online you can find free entry coupons to DJV, where one only has to pay for the drink. I didn't even bring a coupon though, because my last visit to the Ypsi club during the day there was a $7 drink fee and $0 cover - so the coupon didn't help. Not sure if it would have helped at the Flint Club.

When I entered the club the place was about empty. No patrons. One girl seated. I paid my $7 and took a seat, and within a few minutes I was approached by the dancer. She joined me at the table and explained that she doesn't usually work days, and that yes it was quiet but should pick up soon. It was about 4:30 p.m. at that time.
