Not a Lot Going On
Intro: I was in Tijuana Monday-Wednesday June 5-7 and spent almost all of my time at Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club (see submitted article, when published, for lots of details on crossing the border and making the most of your time and money). On that Tuesday, I met up with a fellow TUSCLer, who gave me an early-evening (7:30-8:30) tour of other clubs in the area, and I thought I'd post a brief write-up on each.
Chicago Club is just around the corner from HK. No cover. Walked in to find the bar at the front of the club, pretty much right as you enter. The bartender warmly encouraged us to sit at the bar – ostensibly to prevent any waitress from getting a tip that he preferred to go to him. There was loud music playing, a few girls around, and one on stage. No girls approached us; we stayed about 10 minutes and headed out. Not sure what the "Chicago" connection is, but I did see a couple of full-sized portraits of Al Capone, Chicago's most notorious criminal (pre-Rod Blagojevich). Would probably not return.
