Not Much to See Here

Intro: I was in Tijuana Monday-Wednesday June 5-7 and spent almost all of my time at Hong Kong Gentlemen's Club (see submitted article, when published, for lots of details on crossing the border and making the most of your time and money). On that Tuesday, I met up with a fellow TUSCLer, who gave me an early-evening (7:30-8:30) tour of other clubs in the area, and I thought I'd post a brief write-up on each.

Las Chavelas is right next door to HK. My friend and I exited the back door of HK and entered the back door of Las Chavelas. No cover. There were not many people, and very few girls. The music was really loud, and there were a few couples dancing together on the dance floor. It seemed like more of a locals hangout, well worn, and the music was more traditional Mexican. Not much action at this point; we stayed about 10 minutes and left to hit another club. Would probably not return.
