What do we really want from this joint
I've only been a member/customer of TPC for just over a year and it's been very interesting reading the gamut of reviews the last few months. On the one hand, we get some apocalyptic declarations of how the club is finished and the current crop of dancers have failed to live to the clubs legacy. But we also get the occasional review that things aren't so disastrous.
Judging from my Thursday visit last week, both sides of the coin speak to the truth. The TPC that many have been going to for years is probably dead. That's just the reality due to business, legal, feminist .. whatever reason you've heard. But this may still be an passable club if you can accept what its still good at.
It is fairly certain that the days of extras (VIP room extras in particular) are pretty much over. The current rotation of ladies I have talked to just don't see the financial benefit and they are frankly appalled at the idea. Not all of them might you, you may get lucky and find that one holdover but the cost benefit will be untenable for most clients. Unfortunately, this lack of eroticism caries over to the lap dances for some of the newer girls. No one has taught them yet that the value of a slow good grind, a nice whisper to the ear or other subtle moves. It's just a lot of fast bouncing and expressionless rubbing that really doesn't float a lot of boats. The VIP room is essentially an afterthought, almost no one upsells it anymore. At least two-way touching (outside of the groin and ass crack) is still a norm - something hard to find in the DC/MD/VA region.
