Club is in a pretty deserted area, a couple of minutes away from downtown New Haven with not much else to do there. Cover is $10 iirc, and club is pretty safe due to pat-down. Dance floor set-up isn't bad, you can admire from afar without having to tip, and there are couch seats if you want to be up close. Be warned, the club is very smoky and can be somewhat oppressive and musky. Lap dance is in a corner in the main floor, with a bouncer near-by, so not much touching available. I did not see the VIP room, which is behind a curtain. Bar area is well-lit with pool table and sports on TV.

There were 6 dancers when I went, 4 were African-American and 2 were caucasian. Most seemed to have regulars that they spent most of their time talking when not on stage or giving private lap dances, so I'd say your chances of a good conversation with them are limited. For the most part, if you aren't a regular the only line you'd be getting from them are "Do you want a lap dance?" However, I've found that once you do go for one, they treat you pretty well with attention.

I'd say the value wasn't too great for your dollar. As I mentioned before, cover is $10, and the "bar" prices are pretty hefty (it is BYOB). Lap dances are usually $25. They sometimes have 2-for-1 lap dance specials for $40, which is much better in my opinion, and they give you a card that waives your next cover. VIP dances were quoted at $250, which I doubt is worth the money.
