nothing stays the same
This place used to be great in like 1990 when it was under had a different owner and management... I won't get too into the history of Pacers as I am sure you're more interested in a current review, but this afternoon's visit was a bummer. It used to have pool tables and raised stages and way more hot dancers -- more as in number and better looking. But I guess that goes the same for all live adult entertainment in this day of instant cyber gratification. I came at 5:30 to beat the 6 p.m. cover charge, sat at thr bar, paid for a $5 soft drink (It's a full bar but I only wanted a virgin drink) and when the bartender finally acknowledged me she asked what I wanted in time to interrupt the previous dancer looking for a tip by making a rounds and asking if I had seen her dance.
Everyone, dancers, doorman, customers and bartender, looked unhappy and/or annoyed. Total depression session. Three or four people were looking down at their phones mostly, only one was a customer the others were employees. Although they have two mid-size stages only one had girls taking their turns on it, and no one waa sitting at it. I drank maybe a quarter of my Sprite, tipped a cute brunette whose dance set I had been there for when she came around to my chair asking for her cash and.preased up against me. She had me insert it between her young boobs.
I then left a dollar on the bar and bolted, making sure to walk around the layout one last time, noting the cheap bathhouse decor and vowing to probably never return. Sorry, Pacers. I guess things aren't what they used to be. But you used to be a good time.
