I visited Fantasy Island on Sunday April 2. Not all clubs are open on Sunday so this was a plus to start out with. I walk in about 7:00 and stayed till ten. There was a four dollar cover, not too bad. The lighting was almost perfect not too bright but certainly not too dark. The first thing you notice is the very large main stage, with one pole in the middle. Not too many "gadgets" for the dancers to use, but they were creative. To the right as you come in are a few small tables with two chairs a piece, running along the wall till you reach the bar. As you walk in to the left is the second stage. Really not a stage at all but rather a cage. The main stage is almost a club in of itself. There is a walled drop off of about 4 feet from the stage to the floor on one side, with bar chairs for patrons. All in all probably 40-50 seats just around the main stage. There is walled-off area for "lap-dances" with two extremely long cushioned benches. These were very comfortable, as they needed to be. Two fairly decent pool tables to the back of the club almost off by themselves. Bar was nice and well-stocked. Only one television which to some is a negative, but are you really there to watch TV? Chairs were nice and comfortable.

Now onto the the people who worked in the club. The waitress was courteous and promt. She seemed to work hard and came by frequently. The bouncer was seen and not really heard (which is how all good bouncers should be). The ladies working in the club were on the whole nice. If diversity is what you are looking for you will find it here. Black, hispanic, and white dancers could be found in abundance. Which suited me just fine. Had the pleasure of visiting with two dancers, Carmen and Skye. Neither of these ladies seemed stuck up or the typical "get into your wallet" talk that you get from most dancers. They made my four hours spent here go by too fast. Lap dances are $20 but they are well worth it. I didnt recieve any dance hustles, which can be a negative if you cannot catch someone. The cage seemed to be the most popular place as there often was a line for the more popular dancers.

A few negatives. The bathroom was strange. The bathroom is single person size, with a toilet and a urinal which were both out in the open. However, it was rare that you find yourself alone. Usually a line forms outside, with men relieving themselves in both the toilet and the urinal. Also they do pass around the "music cup" where the dancers come around asking for donations for the DJ. I don't mind this because the DJ doesnt get paid, he only gets tips from those in attendance and the dancers. The cup is easily avoided by simply getting up and walking around if you so choose.
