Patience is rewarded
I finally got myself to the famous HiLiter Club. It's not easy to get to if you don't have a car - I had to take an Uber to/from my airport-area hotel, and it's a fairly long ride, even without traffic.
Anyway, it was $7 to enter, payable to a hot chick instead of a male bouncer. There was a bouncer who patted me down, but he was a nice dude, so no issues there. I'd rather be safe. Upon entering, it's a similar layout to Christie's Cabaret, which I visited last night, except it was more cramped and there were far more people there. But to the degree that the clubs are similar, there are small round tables with cloth rolling armchairs spread around the room. The girls were pretty inked up and seemed to all be roughly -2 on the 1 to 10 scale compared to Christie's. There's a central stage that honestly I paid attention to for no more than three minutes total during my visit.
I got dances from four ladies. Similar to Christie's, they ask if you want their company, and if you say yes, they sit on your lap and talk to you. Then as the song ends, they ask if you want a table dance ($10) or a "VIP" dance ($25). I made a rookie mistake and accepted VIP from the first girl, who was cute, but I actually felt ripped off at $25 plus tip for the VIP cubby from her.
