Nice Place

So Club Boom Boom decided to open as a strip club? I'm not surprised, and it's probably a good idea.

Here's the backstory on this place. This is the old Paragon Pub, a popular neighborhood place. Back when a new owner took over Dreamers he also bought the Paragon and let his hot Thai wife run it as a Thai restaurant--Thai Pho. That lasted about six months.

This area isn't exactly a prime spot for higher end Asian food. When that restaurant failed, it closed for a while and reopened about two months ago as Club Boom Boom, just another night club, but the owner began bringing in some of the dancers from Dreamers to work as bartenders. After several weeks, the club announced it would temporarily close for maintenance and then reopened as a strip joint. Around this same time, the owner of Dreamers supposedly passed on ownership of the bar to his brother. Since then, reserved parking spots for both men have been removed from the lot (though I have seen Mark, the "original owner" doing work inside the club from time to time).
