yearly update

Went to CCR last Thursday at 8:30pm and stayed until midnight. They made some renovations in the club since I reviewed the club last year around June, and most of these are not good

The main stage is now a semi-circle instead of rectangular. This is an improvement as it made the passage way between the front of the stage and the tables much easier. However, they removed the pull-up bars on the sides (the front one is still there) so the dancers can’t do hang-on tricks there anymore. They also added some neon bubble-lights to the back of the stage. I don’t like them because the mess up the reflections of the TVs so I can’t keep an eye on the sports I’m kinda watching while also watching the dancers.

They added additional dropped down lights from the ceiling and these can block the view of the TVs depending on where you are sitting. They made the bathrooms nicer with new tiling and woodwork but they took away the TV over the urinals. Again, since I see this place also as a sports bar, these changes are not positive.
