Ridiculous, just absolutely rediculous.

For someone who is supposed to be taking a break right now, I've been clubbing pretty hard, and this is the first from a series of corresponding reviews. I won't go into the intimate details & description of the club, but this will serve as a little bit of an update on DDs currently for the long time travelers & aficionados. I've noted a summer slow down at some clubs, but so far, Diamond Dolls has not been affected.

I've been here over the past two Wednesdays, and I did think there were fewer customers this past week, the number of dancers remained the same, and most importantly the DDs quality is holding up. However, there does seem to be a new injection of talent into the club, with a cadre of newer girls. These girls seem to be pretty straight forward with what they are selling in terms of their dances, and even MORE aggressive than the already aggressive crew. I met one dancer who told me it was her first day, and that previously she danced at Michaels (Chicas Locas) in Houston (Here I had to pretend that I didn't have this TUSCL knowledge that Michaels in Houston has been overrun with the Cuban Connection). She liked Texas, but there she was alone with her child, whereas in Miami she had friends as a network. So for those uncomfortable with the Cuban invasion seen in Texas & Arizona, they may just be way stations, as they eventually make their way to Florida.

The new cadre of girls were uniformly pretty, and with more natural bodies, but none were blowing away the long time amazing DDs stalwarts (i.e. yes I know it's all fake, but Andrea is just a sight to see). However, with these new faces is a reinforcement to the Mulata contingent, who if you were to average them all out, tend to be a little prettier than the white Cubanas, in my opinion. Right now if you are looking for the black/caramel skinned Cuban experience, Diamond Dolls is the place. There are some STUNNERS. There is a small white girl contingent who are slim but pretty, and seem to have their own set of regular customers, and operate differently than the Cubans (However I will note, the selection of AAs seems to have dwindled, maybe down to one).
