OK time at Follies
This will be a summary of 2 visits, the first this week Tuesday in the late evening (10 PM - 1 AM), and the second on Wednesday from 5 PM - 8 AM). So nightshift and dayshift.
Like others have said before, very different vibe between day and night. Dayshift is a good mix of Caucasian, Black, Hispanic dancers, while nightshift is much more oriented towards Black and Hispanic. The crowd is also different, though I have to say that I've been to Follies twice now at night, and - as a 45 year old white male - never felt uncomfortable. Sure I was in the minority, but I think everybody is there for the same reason anyway.
So let's talk about the dancers and dances. On Tuesday night, I'd say it was a lot of 6's and 7's, with an occasional 8 thrown in. Did not see anybody I would consider a 9 or higher. I had dances from 2 girls. I did a few at a table, and some on the couch. All were $10 dollars per dance with no over-counting or attempt to charge me extra. Mileage was the normal Follies mileage, so very good. Of course I was asked multiple times about VIP (which didn't seem busy at all ... I never saw anybody go in), and the going quote was $200. $150 for the gir, and $50 for the room. I know the real rate is $150 (which is what I paid last time), but since I wasn't interested I didn't go for a counter offer.
