The ALL NEW Goosebumps...it's been awhile
So a couple of weeks, ago, I went to a spot that I haven’t been to in nearly 6 years. At one point, I wasn’t even sure if Goosebumps was still open. So, when I went Goosebumps one late Saturday Night to its Baker Street Location, Irode entirely down Peachtree Street due to the I-85 Bridge being down. Yeah, the bridge was down, go look that story up. Anyway, I past the location on Harris as the name had been renamed. But after I figured out my whereabouts, I came up the one-way Baker Street and parked in the $10 parking lot.Cover was $20 on a Friday Night. Down $30 before you even see a lip.
Since the last time I visited Goosebumps in 2011, this club has been completely renovated. As a result, there were more white patrons here than I ever seen before. Despite this club being downtown around hotels where many white collar workers are in town for business, this club use to be pretty grimey. Well now, it’s not so grimey. The cloth covered chairs have been replaced with leather sofas. The bathrooms have amenities that you would find in a W hotel. Flat screen tvs at every turn with not only NBA games on, but 1 percenter sports like Lacrosse on. The bar had even been upgraded.
Despite the upgrades, the girls weren’t that much better than it was in 2011. Girls were average, pedestrian girls. Not as fine as Friday Night at Onyx or Follies quality, but most girls were “Hoodrat” cute.
