Happy Hours on Wednesdays from 3 to 11 pm

The most important news to share is that the Outer Space Club is now advertising a "Happy Hour" from 3 pm to 11 pm on Wednesdays only. "Everything is $5": the entry fee is $5 instead of $10. Mixed drinks are $5 (small bottle of beer are is less all the time), and Lap Dances are $5 a song during this Happy Hour (and the songs are usually long songs). My guess is that this is the management's reaction to a fall-off in attendance since they raised the price of lap dances to $10 back in September. I have noticed fewer dancers coming and fewer male clients coming.

On this past Friday there were only about 3 dancers in the building when I arrived about 4:30 pm and only 6 dancers at 6 pm. A few more dancers -- but only a few --arrived by 7 pm. There were only about 6 patrons upstairs and 2 downstairs until about 8 pm. Do get a dance from "Mandy" -- a well-proportioned spinner with a nice smile. She accepted $20 for three dances early in the afternoon when everything was slow and then threw in a fourth because no one else was buying. There were other dancers doing energetic stage performances after 7 pm, but downstairs by the bar was slow even at 8:30 pm (Just two guys keeping the ladies entertained.)

I asked one of the dancers if there was an adequate supp;y of dancers on Wednesdays now that they have lowered the price, and she seemed non-committal Nevertheless the girls that were on duty on this Friday afternoon provided a reasonable return for your money (topless most of the time they were dancing, two way touching on external skin, and flashes of the full body while on stage). Some girls bared their rumps while dancing at the Pearl.
