Nice but pricey, especially for the area.

I hadn't been to Savannah's in a year or so. My recollection was that it was the nicest (by far) and most-expensive (by far) club in Winston, and I would say that summary still holds. It's the only non-smoking club in Winston which basically makes it the only option I have (and is why I generally go to Greensboro). The club itself is nice with a large and tall main stage and a side go-go style stage which will be running on busy nights. The dancers are nice, friendly, and some of them really great on the very high pole. The staff seems nice as well though I didn't interact too much with them. I gave a few tips at the stage and was approached by one of those dancers later: Melody.

She was pretty great (and I think won "entertainer of the month" there recently, so probably representative of one of their better dancers). I told her I hadn't been there in a while and she offered to show me around. There used to be a crappy little side room for "VIP" dances but I think that might be gone (or at least it wasn't mentioned to me as an option). I went downstairs, which I hadn't done before, and was told that it had been completely renovated, which I believe as it looked really nice.

Down there dances start at $30 for no-touch (I think this is the replacement for the previous VIP room upstairs), or $40 for two-way contact. You can then get 3 songs (2-way) for $100, 15 minutes for $175, and 30 minutes for $300. And that's where you start really getting a feel for the pricing. Christie's (and I think Mirage too) in Greensboro are $150 for 15 minutes and $250 for 30, and Treasure Club (my favorite) is $110 for 15 minutes and $200 for 30. I was lightly tipsy at the time so I didn't do the math (which as a math person I'm a bit ashamed of) and I went for the 15 minutes for $175. Here's the thing: that pricing is $35 per 3 minutes. If you assume a song is 3 minutes then the 3 for $100 is actually only $33.33 per 3 minutes and it's likely a few songs are longer than that making it even cheaper. So they have some pricing inconsistency. Even the $300 for 30 minutes is $30 per 3 minutes, which a few 3.5 minute songs would make the $100 for 3 still cheaper. So in general I'd do that from now on.
