This use to be the Gold Club; however, the name has been changed to the Penthouse Club. It reopened on March 17, 2006 after Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans. So, everything is brand new inside, including the bathroom which has a plasma tv at every stall. In fact, this is the nicest strip club bathroom I have ever been in. The layout of the club includes 3 stages with 3 giant plasma tv's around them. It is sort of dark and not that large, but most New orleans clubs are not spacious to begin with. However, drinks are expensive; a Heineken cost me $8.00. Regardless, the ladies are all good looking and quite friendly. Lots of them go around. The staff is also helpful. In fact, with the remodeling it is better than it was before. The dances are $25.00 with $35.00 dances available in private stalls on the second floor; The dances range from no contact to some contact, which depends on the girl you pick. This is a good place to hang out and bring friends or have a business meeting. In conclusion, this place is classier than most of the other clubs on Bourbon Street. By the way, admission costs .00.
