Getting strange...

I've been to Flashdance several times and as you can see in my reviews, it's a mixed bag. A couple times back, I was impressed with a couple of the dancers, the atmosphere (for an afternoon stop), and some physical improvements. Last stop last week turned it all back to the early visits. Sketchy surroundings, furniture is getting beat (in only 6 months), girls are getting a bit large for my taste, and their attitudes are really kinda poor. Although given the circumstances, who could blame them?

First, they might say open at noon or 12:30 or whatever....don't bother before 1-1:30pm. No one is ready, except DJ and it's lackluster at best.

Almost an entire turnover of dancer staff, as in, I don't recognize any of the ones from my previous visit, and it was only a couple weeks before. Wait staff tries hard (most of the time), but not all that great. Girls are a wide range of looks...mix of white, Latina, and AA, tiny to OMG what is she doing dancing....and I hate to be that blunt. Dances on the couches are $10 noon to 6(?, maybe?) and with the right girl, are the best bargain, as the songs don't seem to be shortened, but with the wrong one, can be interminably long. Most are right out there with offering extras, rooms are half off during the day. Don't know what all might be available, but you won't have to wait long to find out. Within 10 mins of being seated, barely had my drink and one is in my lap copping a feel and pressing to get a room. Intriguing.
