2nd stop in Springfield

I rolled into Illusions after leaving Rumors, hoping for a better time. The place was in an industrial park. The cover charge was $15. The guy working the front door was very friendly. He explained the "rules" and described the club to me. I have been to a lot of places in my time, and I have never seen this drink set up. I was given an empty cup. It didn't seem like the most sanitary situation as the driver interestingly pulled it from behind the counter.

I was told I could get endless juice and soda at the bar. He explained that I could take the cup outside, fill it up with alcohol and bring it back inside. Uhhhh, why not just allow customer to bring drinks inside the club?? Anyway, I thought that was the one of the oddest rules I have ever seen. I didn't have any alcohol in the car, and didn't feel like taking a trip to the store. I went inside and found a seat near one of the back walls. It was around 11pm and there were slim pickings. There were 5 or 6 girls. One was black, the others were white. The cigarette smoke was really annoying and almost unbearable to me. In hindsight, I remembered that Rumors was smoke free (which was very nice). Choking smoke, no alcohol, mediocre girls, expensive dances, I decided to bounce.
