Another satisfying Blue Moon Experience

I was overnighting in Phoenix recently so I decided to stop by the Blue Moon late in the afternoon. While the Blue Moon isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, true strip club mongers should stop there at least once.

The club is in a run down part of Phoenix, but it does not appear to be dangerous, at least during daylight. Use care in parking; the pigeons like to roost on the billboard and if you park underneath it your car will get its share of pigeon fecal matter deposited on it.

The club is dark. I think it is as dark as any club I have been to and it appears darker if you have just stepped in from the bright Phoenix sun. I paid the $12 cover at the front and let my eyes get adjusted to the dark for a few minutes. The club is small with a small stage against the north wall with stage side seating. There are tables a row back on the sides and front. The dancers congregate at the back corner or back row of the area in front of the stage. I like to sit on the west side or on the east side stage side.
