King Of Diamonds Detroit re-opened as Dreams

King Of Diamonds Detroit re-opened as Dreams around new years 2017. (My visit was 3-31-2017) Manager encouraged me to come check the place out (dreams) via instagram and offered me a job dancing. So I arrived on a Friday night around midnight and much to my surprise the place was empty; only 1 other dancer and 3 customers. Management stated that the club normally doesn't get jumping until late so I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and decided to hang around. (big mistake)

Fast forward to 2:30am and it is now 3 dancers and just 7 customers on a Friday night. The "PROMOTER" is walking around with his chest poked out as if this was a spectacular night he was proud of... I spent $30 on 2 mixed drinks; $20 on food (3 shrimp taco's) which was good but took an hour to make despite the fact the club was basically empty. Terrible experience, but management and security were extremely nice. Waitresses were very attractive, but lazy and couldn't go 5 minutes without puffing on cigarettes taking selfies. As of 5-23-2017 Dreams of Detroit is out of business, and will re-open as a Male strip club in the near future.
