Not as Good as the Old, But Better Than Most

Swung by Ebony Inn a few weeks ago and am just getting to the review now. To be blunt, this isn't the same EI as when I started going back in 2011, but given the limited choices, it's better than most clubs. I went on a Thursday, which along with Friday are the two busiest days. I would prefer to go on a less busy day, but unfortunately the talent rarely shows up Mon-Wed. I go to EI with no expectations and completely ready to leave if there are no girls that I like. The thing about EI is that the experience you have depends completely on who shows up for work that day and what mood they're in. Certainly they have several regulars, but none that are amazing and always reliable. The Inn doesn't post a dancer schedule anywhere, so it's worth the $12 cover ($14 on random special events) just to see what the vibe is that day.

Another thing that's girl-dependent is the touching of boobs. Technically they recently got more strict about girls having their tops off during dances, but some girls clearly don't care and will do it in the open. Others will do it when they're facing you, but then cover up again when they're facing away. And still others won't show boobs at all and mention how strict the bouncers are. My strategy is to watch how the girls are with other guys before choosing them. It's nice to have a fresh girl, but it's even nicer to have a girl who does what I want.

The $7 lap dances are still pissing me off, given the difficulties with change and how they add up faster than the good old $5 lappers, and it seems to be hurting the girls who are in the 3-5 range the most. Some guys would buy a lap dance just to try those girls out before at $5, but it seems like guys are more choosy now so maybe it's working out better for the 6-8s.
