Went here on a Wednesday night on the advice of a local. For out-of-towners, you need to know the Block modus operandi, which is different than pretty much any other area I have been to. There are basically 3 levels of action on "the Block", which all require “buying a drink” vs simply buying dances.

Level 1 is generally $20 – all to the bar and no action in return.

Level 2 is generally $60 – this is where you would see the equivalence of a lap dance in most places. You also tip girls on top of this (assume $60+$60 as a minimum investment).

Level 3 is $100 to $200+ or otherwise negotiated. This is typically going to a semi-private room or back area. This is where the threshold is crossed from strip club to brothel. I cannot speak to this experience directly (but 90% of the time anything goes).
