Worth stopping by
Stopped in to the Man Cave for the first time since it opened to check out the talent one Thursday evening. I noticed a remodeled stage, much lower and much improved. The old stage was about chin high and made it difficult for dancers to settle in a customer’s lap to thank him for dollars. Everything else looked about the same as the old club.
The place was in good shape and the bartender was friendly.
The half-dozen dancers were all younger, early twenties, and outnumbered the customers when I was there. They were in the 5-7 range. They were friendly and not pushing for dances even though it seemed the main source of income. Stage dances received few dollars and the dancers don’t stroll around afterwards to give dollar dances to patrons, like at Sweet Illusions.
