After experiencing my first DC strip club next door at Camelot, I was a little disappointed in how far a dollar didn't go in DC. To recap, there is no such thing as VIP, private dances, couch dances, or even "handshakes" in DC. If that's all you're used do, I guess that's fine - but I'm used to more.

I walked next door from Camelot and was greeted by a bouncer who appeared to be Russian, or at the very least, Eastern European. He was friendly and allowed me to sit at the bar, and I got a chair adjacent to a very small, circular stage, which was on my right. To my left was a stripper in deep conversation with another patron, though when I sat down next to her, she turned to me and said, "hello, friend." Then she complemented my "robust hairline."

As the club is full nude on stage, there was a lot to see, but only see, on the stage three feet away from me. In DC clubs, you get a girl's attention by dropping dollar bill after dollar bill on the stage beneath or next to them while they are dancing. Depending on the girl, she will give you a smile for a dollar, a hair rub for $20-30, and may actually sit and talk to you for $50+. I dropped maybe $10-15 per girl and got big smiles, but nothing else.
