The Best Lap Dances in Virginia
Leave it to the independent City of Roanoke to quietly host the only nude strip club in the Old Dominion and the only one with honest to goodness topless lap dances. Treasure Club (which is a chain that apparently took over an old club called the "Gold and Silver Club") is located on old US 220 (Franklin Rd) in a worn commercial district well south of downtown, though a Mexican restaurant is right next door. Because I was from out-of-town, the club waived the "membership" fee and I got in for $10. When I walked inside the club, one could see what looked like an old bowling alley floor as the dance floor, elevated high above the floor with hard stools around it. The "tables" are fairly small with hard chairs. Clearly not upscale. Somehow, they have managed to carve a second floor out that overlooks the first floor. The second floor is where the laps happen.
Red Bulls cost $4, not sure what sodas or coffee cost. No alcohol here, only nekkid girls. And they are all varying levels of slutty, ranking from 5 to 8+. If you're not tipping by the stage, you're upstairs doing lap dances. No other reason to be in this place except to watch UFC matches, which apparently are a big deal here with the big screen TV's, though live UFC matches televised in a club without alcohol but with nekkid or near-nekkid girls is its own weirdness. The PL's consisted of a lot of day-labor guys still in work clothes, a few engineer-looking Asian guys in polos and T-shirts, and a couple older guys who looked like they still might be living with their mothers. And definitely a few visiting business people from the hotels down the road.
Standard laps are $30 each or 3-for-$75. Once an hour, it's "showtime", all the girls march down the stage, offering 2 dances for $40 with additional dances after $20 each, the best overall deal, especially if you get a great gal. A "room" (actually an alcove instead of a lapdance sofa) is $150 for 15 min. When you walk up the stairs, you're greeted by a cashier to the right in a beard and T-shirt. Continue to the right and you find a series of fuzzy loveseats and small tables where the laps take place out in the open. Stay to the left of bearded cashier guy and there are the alcoves with benches, which are still open to the front. The dressing room is further back. If you go with the extra "showtime" dances, you just tip the girl for those dances afterward.
