Gave it a minute

I was in Fort Wayne the last weekend in April, and decided to check out a club. I drove past Showgirls III, which looked all glitzy on the outside, and decide to try Harem. I had driven past in earlier in the day and it looked a bit like a warehouse and a neighborhood bar, and not like a typical flashy club. I hoped that maybe I would find a low key hidden gem. It was about 9:30 pm and there were just a handful of cars in the parking lot. The marquee described $2 Miller (or maybe it was Miller Lite). Paid the cover charge, the amount I've already forgotten but was probably like $5. Went inside and looked around and found a small table close to the bar. There was one dancer on stage, and she was a bit big boned so to speak. There were a couple of girls near the bar, and from behind I couldn't really tell if they were waitstaff and bartender or dancers. I sat down and saw 2 gentlemen seated in front of me, with one dancer talking to one of the gentlemen. After a minute or two she started dancing on his lap, which I presumed was some sort of sampler to encourage him to go to a private area. Then this dancer went on stage and started dancing with the girl on stage.

There were maybe only 3 or 4 customers in the club, and looking around it appeared there was an upstairs area which I presume was for private couch dances. I did see 3 or 4 girls and none really looked very alluring in my opinion, with the possible exception of the one girl who was dancing on the lap one table in front of me. I waited about 5 minutes, and didn't have a waitress approach for a drink order or a dancer approach. Felt like if I wanted service I needed to go to the bar and place an order. I instead went to the Men's room, and in there there was a man offering me soap to wash my hands, with a tip basket. Perhaps this is common in the evening at clubs, but I usually go during the day so this surprised me. I really didn't want to tip a guy for giving me soap from a dispenser.

I left the Men's room and left the club. $5 for $5 minutes and a chance to look around at a club I've never been to before was fine. I don't have any plans to go back to this club.
