Time for a Second Chance

In St. Louis for business and had no inclination to go to the casino or a movie, so I thought I would give the PC of St. Louis a second chance, cause isn't that what life is all about.

The PC in Sauget is a bit different than other PC's thru the US and I have been to a lot of them, first off the physical building is not as new and as updated as other, but who cares about that. As long as they have a neon sign that advertises where it is and the parking lot has a decent amount of asphalt, I am good to go. Now having been there before I didn't expect much, so with diminished expectations I venture in. It was around 10:00 pm when I arrived, and a pretty good number of patrons, as well as dancers. Not the St. Louis Metroplex area is not nearly as large as the other areas, but it does have some lookers. Ordered my usual Bud Light, must have had a bazillion of these in my SC career. Settled in and took in the action. It always amazes me that the girls seemed to have the lost the ability to hustle like they have in the past. Been going to clubs for the better part of four decades, yeah started when I was 10, but the ladies seemed to have lost the ability to converse, must be texting and all the social media that limits ones vocabulary and understanding of social interaction. A few ladies stopped by, but the vibe was not there, after 3 Bud Lights was ready to call it a night, when an older (30+) brunette stopped by, she had her own drink which is always a nice touch. Her name was Samantha, and she had worked at the PC for 3 months and while the money was ok, she was looking to move in a different direction... The alarm bells were ringing. I inquired as to what she was thinking, and she wanted to do the whole escorting thing. OK, what next I asked, She replied that she got off at 12, and if I wanted to meet that night she was up for it. I said sure what I am to turn down someone who is looking to make a career change. Gave her my number, and I left with not even a 5% chance that she would give me a buzz, well I was wrong at 12:15 am she called and at 12:30 she walks in my room. Must be the new business model.
