Where have all the pretty girls gone?

My Friday afternoon and evening visit to the Flight Club had everything: except good-looking dancers. Time was, a trip to the FC yielded at least half a dozen 8's or better. Of the 8 dancers on the afternoon shift, and 6 on the evening shift, there was nary a one. Most needed to lose 15 pounds or so; a couple needed to gain that much; some were covered in tattoos to the point one longed for simple skin; one girl looked like an all-in wrestler. The best looking dancer I saw told me she was 45 years old! I stayed until about 8:30 hoping for at least one pretty girl; I was disappointed. The few customers, never more than 15 or so, seemed bored, with good reason.

The Flight Club is supposed to be in the top tier of Detroit clubs. Have the good-looking dancers gone elsewhere? If so, where?

One curious side note: the night shift dancers pressed relentlessly for extras; the afternoon shift girls never mentioned them. Policy, or preference?
