Things were pretty slow last Monday...

I stopped in at Hollywood the other day (Monday, 1 May). This place is not hard to find. From I-64, take exit 6, which is State Hwy. 111 (aka = “KIngshighway”). Go north, and turn right at the very first stoplight, and head east on Bunkum Road. Ok, this is where it gets interesting. They are doing construction on Bunkum, so it’s kinda tricky negotiating that work zone. However, the club is open, so if you persevere, you will get there. They open at noon (Mon-Sat), and at 2pm on Sunday. If you arrive before 7pm, there is no cover.

The club is under new management, and drink prices have been reduced. A cold beer will cost you from $3.75 to $4.75 (it used to be much higher). On this day, there were 5-6 girls working, and only one stage was active. The girls would go up and do a three-song set. The club seemed pretty dead. There was no energy. No girls came to my table. So, I left and went down the street to Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club. The next time I go to Hollywood, I hope to find a little more excitement.
