Getting better....

Though I have been to this club many times, I've held off on reviewing it so as to let it get its footing before passing judgement. Gold club has been open for about 6 months now, so I think it's fair game.

If you haven't already been, here's the basics:

It's open every day until 5am, cover is $10, and valet is mandatory and costs $6. Dress code is pretty standard; no coats, hats, sweatpants, hoodies, or sweaters with zippers. Coat check is free if you need it.

Drink prices are comparable to most other clubs. Domestic beers will run about $5, imports $6. Mixed drink prices vary depending on the kind of spirit, but expect about $10 for a cocktail. Same goes for shots, just depends on which liquor you choose. If you want bottle service, bottles start around $300 and you'll get a booth.

The main stage accommodates 2 dancers, there's a satellite stage, and a very small pole/stage in the VIP area. On busier nights there will be 4 dancers on the stages, but if you go on a slow night, expect only one entertainer on stage. The music is mostly EDM type club mixes, mixed in w/ a bit of hip hop and rock sprinkled in.
