The Bird Can Fly

Lawrence had a festival in the warehouse district on Saturday and after it was closing, I decided to visit the flamingo. I arrived there around 10:30 PM and to my surprise there wasn't a big crowd for a Saturday night. I paid the five dollar cover and got a table right at the stage. Most of the dancers were fairly cute and there were two that stood out above the rest. These two dancers were knockouts and could work the pole with great athleticism. The other dancers were 6-7 range and some were also solid performers. Overall, everyone was very very nice. The wait staff was also very attentive and polite. Two dancers came by my table and talked and eventually asked for a lap dance. Instead of going to the VIP room where you pay $10 just to get your foot in the door followed by $20 which goes to the dancer, I opted for a lap dance in a corner booth in the main area for $10. A lap dance out in the open does not allow the girls to remove their top and there is no fondling per se, however she had ways of doing the dance which created a lot of friction and she rubbed her tits in my face. She was cute and nice and working her way through college.

Overall, I was kind of impressed with the place given it's location on the outskirts of Lawrence. From the outside it looks like a dump but on the inside it's fairly clean and presentable. I'll probably visit the flamingo again because on Saturdays I was told they usually have 10 to 15 dancers and I hit it on a low night. One dancer told me to make sure to come on the party night which is the last Saturday of each month. I'll probably be go back because everyone there was great to talk to and personable and I was not pressured for anything although I tipped every dancer on stage.
