Perspective

After a disappointing visit to Follies, the I-85 road closure sent me around I-285. I was driving right past the Jonesboro Rd exit and decided to check out Rumors. I was shocked to see the closed businesses along that stretch of road.

As the old-timers may remember, this club is on the original Crazy Horse Saloon Bldg. I hadn't been to this club since they opened. When I pulled into the lot I had a brief sense of hope. Maybe this is where some of the cute girls from Follies have gone...especially some of the ones from Spalding County area. But alas, I don't know who owned all the cars but there were only 3 girls that looked like they might be dancers.

The club layout was a little strange with two pool tables being the first thing you see when you come in the door. There were all kinds of signs for a restaurant that apparently "operates" out of the club. There were two small stages that looked like they were an afterthought and then a massive well lit bar. Whatever they were going for, it did not look like your typical strip club.
