Old School Night

Went to Dollhouse early Sunday with the significant other, new for both of us. The club seemed couple friendly walking in, wasn't sketched out once we got in, felt safe/comfortable having the other half with me. It's a decently sized space so after ordering drinks we melted into some chairs and sipped drinks watched the dancers. It was old school night and the jams were pretty dope, mix of vintage hip hop with some random stuff like Steely Dan. Most people seemed to be in the bar area watching the game. There were a couple of groups of guys in front of the main stage, awkward college kids, and a couple of seasoned loners throwing down for their favorite dancer on the stage. We weren't looking for any attention for the dancers, who we friendly but not pushy, which is nice.

They had dancers going on the main stage and the bar stage. Ethnically mixed and different body types, more natural bodies and some thicker women all of which I like. There was a thick white dancer in glasses Ginger had it going on, lots of tats that Suicide Girls look. Couple of tall athletic black dancers Serena and Rose were tight. If you're looking for airbrushed playboy types, Kahoots is probably more your jam- these ladies looked like, well, ladies. Drinks were cheap, and even with cover ended up being cheaper than a movie date and more fun. Would definitely go back, either with my partner again or go with a friend watch a game or something.
