Another Eastside Dive

I like the grittiness of strip clubs on the east side, and Shimmers is on on my regular rotation for that very reason. Been a few times and the vibe has always been the same. Regulars sitting at the big horseshoe bar talking quietly with their favorite girl. Dancers on stage sometimes have literally nobody watching. Not very private pd areas are cheap ($20/song) and generally satisfying in a more or less legal way. I've never been there when there's anything like a party atmosphere, but that's my preference and why I usually show up at weird hours on off nights. I've success with take out here, but that's more about luck than venue. Worth a stop if your taste runs to dive bars with naked, available working class women. I keep going back.
