Decent Club, Friendly Dancers

Whatever your stereotypes are about a mostly Black club might be, this club will change them. First of all, the club is located in a small farming town about 20 miles outside Huntsville on a two lane road. Second, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I felt out of place for all of five minutes or less. And that was because of me, not the club or patrons. Third, the club seems as safe and laid back as any club I've been to.

I didn't look this club up on here, I just happened to be riding on back roads on my motorcycle and passed by. I saw the club just past "downtown" Harvest. Harvest consists of a feed store, a lumberyard, a Dollar General, a gas station, several churches, and a handful of small businesses. That's it. So when I passed by the club I thought it was going to be a kind of redneck country club type of bar with 2-3 country girls and several country boys hooping and hollering. It's nothing like that.

The dancers range from slender to thick, 20 to 30 years old. They do more twerking than dancing, but that's ok. The music ranged from rap to hip hop to classic funk (Parliament and stuff like that).
