First time on the Edison Strip

I was surprised to learn of this area of Long Island while I was here visiting. As other reviewers mention, this isn't a traditional strip club per se, but a video & toy store with live dancers in the back. I would be surprised if anyone ever bought a video here.

At about 1am on a Friday night / Saturday morning there were about 10 cars parked out front. I walked in and saw a stairway leading upstairs and a doorway to the right leading to a "live show". I went through the doorway down a hallway towards the Live Show. About halfway down the hallway to the right is a booth with a young guy sitting there and I asked how this all works. He said it was a swingers night tonight and that unaccompanied men paid $50. He tells me there was only one couple back there and a bunch of single dudes. The attendant is a friendly enough guy and his body language tells me that this probably wasn't what I am looking for. He then directs me to the live girls upstairs.

I walk upstairs and there's a burly Russian guy sitting at a counter playing with his phone. He points to a hallway to the left. I follow the arrows and find a booth with a plexiglas window and metal shutters. I feed a dollar bill into the mechanism and the metal shutters slowly begin to rise. I see a fluorescent-lit room with plastic outdoor furniture and what appears to be a little kitchenette. It's a sad room and reminds me of a zoo. Then I see a pair of nice tattooed legs walking towards me. The shutters completely open to reveal a tallish tanned and tattooed woman with dark hair and a beautiful, almost erotic face. She introduced herself as June and is the only dancer working at this time.
