Visited: Saturday Evening

I visited Stilettos Cabaret in Brownsville multiple times while working in Brownsville, so this review will summarize all of those visits. The cover charge was always $10, whether it was a quiet weeknight or a busy Saturday night. When you enter, you walk through a metal detector and get patted down by a rent-a-cop. Sincweisers were $4 on weeknights and $5 on the weekends. I bought a dancer a Dos Equis on a Tuesday night, and they charged me $8. I am guessing drink prices are doubled when buying for dancers.

Upon entering the club, the DJ booth is to your immediate right. Past the DJ booth, the lap dance area begins and makes an “L” along the far right wall. It is elevated a few feet above the rest of the club and offers virtually no privacy from the rest of the club. It is just a series of couches with their backs to the wall. The left wall of the club is the bar. There is an island stage that dominates the center of the room with many tables surrounding it. The stage is maybe thirty feet long with two pole positions. All of the walls are covered in mirrors. There is an ATM in the vestibule. It has a maximum withdrawal of $100 with a $6 fee. If you need several hundred, you will have to do multiple transactions and get hit with the $6 fee on every swipe. The chairs and couches are worn and stained. I noticed a rolling chair or two were missing a wheel. The padding that lines the perimeter of the stage is ripped up. There are wrinkles in the carpeting, so make sure you do not trip. Major upholstery work is needed for Stilettos Cabaret.

Lap dances are $20 per song. Contact is two-way and mileage was excellent with most of the six dancers I experienced. The couches on either end of the L-shaped private dancer area have slightly more privacy since they have a little bit of a wall on one of their sides. I did feel up a few dancers’ pussies in the outlying couch positions. There are VIP rooms behind the back wall, shielded from the rest of the club by one-way glass. I never got a clear price on how much they cost. One dancer told me that you have to purchase a bottle for $60 then pay $20 for every dance back there. A second dancer told me you pay $67 for a bottle and $200 for an hour. I also heard the DJ announcing bottles of liquor were $99. What I did confirm with a few dancers was that contact in the VIP room was basically the same as what you get during regular lap dances. One dancer said I could play with her pussy, but I was already doing that to several dancers during lap dances.
