Afternoon at Baby Dolls

Another trip to Dallas, another trip to Baby Dolls. This was an afternoon trip before heading to the airport. I arrived around 1:00 and paid the $3.00 cover and again I was pleasantly surprised at the number of dancers and patrons already in the club. They were already using all seven of their stages and there were numerous attractive dancers throughout the club. The quality of the dancers was only slightly below the night crews that I have seen before.

I will briefly cover the club basics. The club is basically a large rectangle with a second floor balcony and more TVs than the average sports bar. In the center of the first floor was a large bar with another bar on the second floor. The first floor has a large stage on one end of the room with six small satellite stages circling the room. There are pool tables on the left of the main stage next to the free, all you can lunch buffet. Opposite the stage is a large set of stairs up to the second floor. This second floor balcony has a series of VIP rooms around the outside and the table and chairs on the outside wall are reserved for regular lap dances ($20 each). Dancers would rotate between the stages every two songs and all dances are topless only. If you are not eating the lunch buffet then I recommend heading upstairs to survey the room and to study the talent. This is also a good place to talk to dancers. Around 2:00 the dancers seemed to circulate less often and congregated at the upstairs bar.

Again, the level of contact seems to be up. I had more than one dancer offer to make sure I finished for the purchase of multiple songs and no tip.
