Back in TX

Had been previously curious about this spot on a prior trip, so decided to try it out. Let me first say as has been relayed before, it is literally set up on the inside like a lodge, lol. The fireplace & deer heads on the mantle was very unique. Their first room is essentially like walking into a restaurant/lodge set-up. I had decided to have dinner, & the menu offerings are not bad & reasonably priced. I would say this is a couple or business client friendly place as well since was pretty low key & clean. They have seperate area's for VIP's, & even apparently offer Dance Classes (of lap variety).

The ladies were very nice & not overly pushy. I would say they did seem to have a more mature lady in terms of probably over 30 or so. That is typically not my preference, but no huge deal in this case since went in with no expectations. That being said, the ladies were very well kept. There is not a ton of dancing per se if that's your deal. As I said, more of a laid back spot. The $20 dances I would say are overpriced in the natl context, but not based on TX from what I have seen & read. I stayed for about 10 dances, & nothing earth shattering, but was pleasant.

I would say the Lodge is a very nice laid back spot. The food ended up being great (Calamari/Steak, etc.) The environment is safe, clean, & casual. If I ever got back to TX would try again, although only if in the immedate area. I would recommend if you not looking for anything overly wild or seeking mostly dancer's under 30.
