First visit

Oasis had been on my hotlist for quite a while, but I never had an opportunity to visit until this week. Tuesday I had just a small amount of time to kill between meetings, and I followed my GPS to the club. I had no idea what to expect in terms of location - it's opposite a huge number of car dealerships, and at first I was a little leery of parking at a strip club in such a high traffic area. However, there is a low wall along the road in front of Oasis that effectively blocks out license plates, so I guess that's good.

Upon going inside (around 5:30), there was a metal detector and a bouncer podium, but there was no bouncer there. I walked through the metal detector (didn't empty my pockets and it didn't beep) and opened the door into the club. I also didn't pay a cover, but not sure if I would have had to had there been a bouncer at the door.

The club is fairly nice inside. Nearly every girl was latched onto another patron, which was a little annoying. I sidled up to the bar and asked the cute Asian bartender for a bottle of water (didn't want to have booze breath for my meeting). The water was $5, but I guess that was offset by not having to pay a cover to go in. I laid $2 on the edge of the bar for a tip for the bartender, and the girl coming off the stage - who I barely caught a glance of - swooped by and grabbed it without making eye contact with me. I gave the bartender a fresh tip.
