Not Just A GC, But An Eiite GC
I'm in WPB, on the way to the track to play some poker, where I pass an "Elite Gentlemen's Club". The word "elite" intrigued me since last time I checked the National Social Register, I didn't recall seeing any strip club in there, let alone an elite one. Ok, let's give them a shot after poker (-230, 2-5 NLH, kept playing defense all session, for those who care).
First thing that impressed me, were the bouncers introducing themselves and shaking my hand. Never had that happen before, but that's a sign of good management and good customer service. I think in any service business, the more customer interactions a business has, the better it will do in the long run. A GC is no exception. Second, it's a nice looking room, in the modern/industrial sense. The DJ was spinning house and some tech house (what is it with the FL clubs where I'm reviewing the DJ lol?), he was solid.
So, I took a seat at the end of the bar, against the wall. This is actually a favorable location in some respects. You get a litle space, you're close to a stage (there are 4 or 5 stages the girls don't get totally naked until the last stage, which I guess enhances the "classiness" effect). The only issue is that guys are always walking up ordering drinks and blocking your view. But I was ok with this.
