My Second Review Of The OutPost

When I was here about a year and a half ago I thought this club had promise and was kind of looking forward to checking it out again, especially since Eve and I arrived later in the evening (about 9:45) and I was hoping things would be going full steam ahead. As we pulled into the parking lot, there were a lot of cars there (over a dozen) so I thought we were in for a hoping place...but on walking in the door all we saw were three girls in a group at the bar playing with their phones, the same bar tender that was there a year and a half ago behind the bar, and three old guy customers sitting sleepily at the bar. No one on stage, no music playing, no dancers that even looked like dancers, the three girls I "think" were dancers looked more like high school cheerleaders than strippers. We ordered our drinks and as the bartender was about to go get them he informed us there was now a $5.00 "door fee". I asked for what? He said, "well, we got dancing girls." I asked how many and when they might start dancing...his reply was a shrug of the shoulders and I think he said "we got some more on the way." I wasn't about to throw $10.00 out the window for no reason so Eve and I left for the Rear End in Marshfield.

The OutPost is wayyyy out in the country, no towns of any size within a couple hundred miles, so I can imagine it is tough to get decent dancers on a regular basis. Later this summer I might take a ride down here on the bike and see if it improves...I do think the place has promise, but the timing was definitely not there this night.
