A Spooktacular Night – Halloween Edition
When your group chat is dead on Halloween night and you’re four guys with no solid plans, you do what any reasonable men would do: you go to the strip club (lol). We decided to see if 390 had any holiday spirit. Pulling up around 1:30 AM, the "middle of nowhere" vibe was amplified by the pitch-black night, to me personally, thats how you know the dances will be great. if its located in industrial areas. The parking lot was parked as usual, with the occasional person in a half-off costume heading inside, assuring us we weren't about to walk into a zombie den.
Cover was 20 USD each. There's an ATM inside. My advice is to bring cash with you. The Halloween theme inside was actually pretty well done. The place already has that cavernous, old-theater feel, and they leaned into it. The lighting was even more orange and purple than usual, with fake cobwebs strewn tastefully (if that's possible) around the bar. But the best part? About half the dancers were in costumes. We're not talking simple cat ears; we saw everything from a full on Spider-Gwen, Princess Diana from Shrek and a classic nurse to a few devils and angels. It added a whole new layer of fun to the experience as it was like a talent show and a beauty pageant had a spooky, thrilling baby.
Our group of four managed to snag a booth near one of the stages, thanks to a quick-witted Asian host in a cat woman suit. The energy was electric. The usual rotation of dancers was now a parade of characters. My personal strategy was to find a dancer whose costume I appreciated. I ended up with an incredible Black dancer dressed as the mom from the incredibles. We chatted for a bit about how clever her costume was before heading to the dance area. That little connection made the $30 dance (full nudity, full touch in the dimly lit, bead-curtained area) feel more like a fun, private Halloween party than a transaction. Absolutely worth it.
My buddies had their own adventures: (fake names for anonymity)
Dave, our impulsive friend, went straight for a "zombie bride" who was both terrifying and mesmerizing. He said the spooky makeup made the dance uniquely intense.
Mike, our value guy, stuck to his guns. He enjoyed 2 bottles of beer for around 14$ and said the costumed stage shows were entertainment enough. He left thrilled with his sub-$150 night.
Chris got into the champagne room because of a very persuasive "vampire." She quoted the $400 for 30 minutes. He came back to the group wide eyed, and we collectively congratulated him.. In my opinion, some monsters are just too expensive.
The $20 cover was a treat, not a trick, and the drinks were as cheap as ever. The real value was in the $30 dances, especially with the Halloween flair. We all agreed that the themed night made everything more engaging and a little less serious.
If you get the chance to hit 390 on a theme night, DO IT. It took a solid, no-frills club and injected a ton of fun and personality. The Halloween vibe was a perfect icebreaker, the costumes were creative, and our whole group of four had an absolute blast. It was the perfect, unexpected way to cap off Halloween. We’re already wondering what they do for Christmas.
