OK Place

Found my myself in Rochester again for a few days and decided to check out a couple of the clubs. Not sure what to think about this place. Visited twice on a Thursday and Saturday evening – about 9 or 10 pm both times. Parking seemed limited and dimly lit, but seemed safe and I had no issues either night. Not a very large building and the entrance is at the front of the building. Two sets of doors to go through and upon entering a velvet rope leading you to the cashier. (The place isn’t big enough inside for the velvet rope but it must stop paying from walking directly to the bar for a drink. The bar is only about 20 feet from the front door) Cover charge was $7.00 or $8.00. I was drinking water and it was $4.00. The layout out of the place is like this – walk in behind the guy taking your money at the door is 3 or 4 VIP rooms with beaded curtains covering them. I also believe behind him to the front is an ATM machine. Towards the back of that side is the DJ booth and down that hall is the men’s bathroom. Straight ahead of you when you walk in is the bar – it takes up the full wall and has seating for about 12 people. There are scattered tables and chairs around and when they are full it is a little hard to walk around the place. Funny thing the second night an unhappy dancer was pointing out to me with only 5 customers there a sign on the wall that said max occupancy was 64 people. The stages are two small circle stages – not connected and to the left when you walk in. Maybe 3 feet wide tops. As for the dancers, two very different groups of dancers – both time about 10 dancers – on Thursday it was 50% black – 50% white and on Saturday – it was almost entirely all white dancers. The consistency was the quality – I would say all in the 5-6 range. I cannot comment on dance prices as only four dancers approached me over the two nights and it was mostly short quick conversations with one exception. It appears all dances are done in the VIP room and I think the options are one dance, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes. My understanding is there may be cameras in the rooms. I do think a little fun can be had based on the conversation with one dancer who told me a request of a customer that she walked away from. I saw another dancer go with the customer. I am not sure I can recommend this place but it seems the kind of place that you every now and then catch that total 10 and just hope you are there before she leaves. Enjoy
