It's Alright

Headed back to Tampa last night and went to Emperors. Paid the $10 cover and went to a table. We went to the topless part, which we didn't know was the topless part until later. One of the girls told us that the nude part is closed for renovations and would reopen in a few months.

Anyway, the topless part has the bar along the front and side (you take a left after you walk in, and you're on the right side of the main area). There's a satellite stage in the front left corner. In the front right corner there are actually two pinball machines. That was unexpected to see. Four TVs. Music was mostly rap and R&B. There were five dancers that we saw: two Latinas and three AAs. We sat at a table and saw one of the Latinas on the stage: the other was at the bar. Ordered a water (me) and a ginger ale (him) at $4 each.

The girl who was at the bar came up to my friend while I was trying to connect to the club's wireless on my phone, and then the one who was on stage sat down and talked to me. G was the one who talked to him: blond hair, contacts. B talked to me: dark hair, didn't speak much English. She seemed impressed with my little bit of Spanish, which was rusty. We took our partners back for a 3-60 each, although B tried to sell me a single song for 30 at first. There was no charge to go back into the private area, which is to the right of the main stage. Each booth had a decent amount of space, and it was quite dark back there. The dances were really good, I'll give B that much. A little too much moaning - I mean, starting as soon as she got on my lap was slightly overboard - but she was enjoyable. She tried to sell me on private rooms in Spanish, but I turned that down.
