After my visit to PT’s Brooklyn, I crossed the street to Roxy’s. These clubs are definitely polar opposites in design, as well as ‘vibe’. While PT’s Brooklyn is moving towards the upper end sector, Roxy’s thrives on being ‘old school’. It’s small, it’s a bit smokey and it’s old….but without a doubt, this club has character. It’s a bit blue collar, it’s a bit biker and it’s a bit heavy metal. Toss it all together and you get the feel for Roxy’s when it’s hopping.

As I said, the club is pretty small but they found room to fit in four stages, as well as several booths for private dances. These booths offer a decent level of privacy and are similar to what you’ll find at Penthouse and PT’s Brooklyn. Dance prices are the most reasonably priced of all the PT’s owned club, only $25 per song. This is definitely a plus if you’re a bit tight on funds but still want to have a good time.

If you’re looking for the traditional Playboy centerfold dancer, it’s not likely you’re going to find her here. If you’re looking for something a bit unusual and you like variety, this club probably offers more than any other in St. Louis. During my visit (a Friday afternoon) there were 7 girls in the rotation and one station in operation. The girls ranged from platinum blonde and skinny (Skylar) to a bit more muscular and black (Gina). Toss in a few that fell in between and you can see the range (if you’re allergic to silicone, you probably won’t have a reaction here!). Elecktra, a tattooed beauty, offered me a brief tour of the club and explained the legendary shower scene. Jeff was the director on duty and he was a real cool guy. We sat and exchanged stories of the business for a bit and he told me all about Roxy’s.
