After numerous trips to St. Louis and almost always going to Sauget or Washington Park, I decided to take a journey to Brooklyn….Brooklyn, Illinois that is. One of the more personable club directors in town, Tom, was recently promoted to GM of PT’s Brooklyn from PT’s Sports in Sauget so he invited me to come check out his club. After a bit of thought, I decided ‘what the heck, let’s take a walk on the wild side.’ Now for those of you who haven’t been to Brooklyn, IL recently ‘war zone’ might be a more applicable term. The buildings that are nearby PT’s Brooklyn and Roxy’s are both completely burned out, yet still standing. It’s not a visually pleasing site to say the least. My visit was during the day, but management assured me that during the nighttime hours, their parking lots are well lit and patrolled. If you’ve been to Brooklyn, you’ll know this is definitely a requirement.

Enough of the outside of the club, let’s head in. Inside, you’ll see several stages, one of which is very unique. It’s NOT elevated yet it has a pole. Couches surround the stage and offer an interesting perspective from which to view a dancer working the pole. This stage is very popular with the couples who come to the club. The club is nicely appointed, clean and the old bowling alley style chairs have been replaced by higher quality fixtures.

Additional unique features you’ll find in this club include the fantasy room, hot tub and bed dance room. The fantasy room runs $150-$200 depending on the dancer and the volume in the club and gets you 20 minutes. Inside, there’s a chair for the guy and a couch for the entertainer and a door that you can shut behind you for COMPLETE privacy. There’s an open ‘window’ (without glass) that separates the two areas, along with infrared sensors that make sure the guy stays on his side of the glass. What goes on in this room is up to the two individuals…as long as they stay on their sides of the room. The next feature room is the hot tub. This runs about $270 (price sometimes varies and time is for around 20 minutes). Note that some dancers choose not to indulge in this option, so be sure to ask first. The final feature area is the bed dance room. There are beads that offer some privacy and pricing is similar to the hot tub area.
