Happy Hour

First time here on a Wednesday afternoon during happy hour time. Admission cost is five dollars and a thorough hand-wanding is done with a metal det ector. There appeared to be about a dozen regular guys at the bar, most sitting with a dancer. Beers were reasonable at approx. $4 to $6 and two pool tables were open on the raised level upstairs - as more guys came in, they headed to the tables to play. There was no waitress for the tables upstairs - guys brought drinks from the bar and everyone left their bottles behind. Lots of bottles up there - until the door guy collected them almost an hour later.

Now to the dancers - almost all Latinas, each dancing for 3-song sets on the upstairs stage, a few using the pole to advantage, a few flashing for dollar bills. After dancing, they would sit at the bar or walk around, at times inquiring about a dance in the back rooms. Two or three younger,attractive Latinas, but several others were a bit overweight and some were older -say forties. I did see guys at the bar go for dances with the dancer they were chatting with - buy the dancer a drink, talk a while, then a dance. None of the dancers grabbed my interest today. This is more like a neighborhood hangout than a plush club, but all types of fun are available. It's Good for an evening out - rather than be stuck in a hotel room, but don't expect anything fancy here.
