Kahoots

Kahoots is in a commercial area tucked away off the main road, so if your car being seen parked at a strip club is a concern for you, not much to worry about here. There was plenty of free parking in the big lot when I stopped by about 6:45 p.m. Cover charge was $5.

Inside, there is a small anteroom where the restrooms are located. There is also an entrance to the stage area, which is in a separate room, and to the left is the entrance to the bar. To the left of the bar is an area marked with a “VIP Suite” sign. To the right of the bar is the main stage. The bar is separated from the stage area by a partial wall. If you are sitting at the bar, your view of the stage area is partially blocked by the wall. You are also facing away from the stage, which is the right and slightly to the rear.

The main stage is in the middle of a large room lined with typical restaurant style booths with tables sticking out from the wall, so it you are sitting in a booth, you are sitting sideways to the stage, not facing it. There is a small row of two seat tables on one side of the stage. This row is the only places to sit actually facing the stage except for the seats at the stage itself. It seems clear that Kahoots used to be a restaurant of some sort, and the stage area used to be the main dining area. They just moved the tables out of the middle of the dining area and put in a stage. It’s not a good set up for a strip club, especially if you are a PL like me that prefers to sit at the bar for a while and ogle the dancers while getting his bearings because the view of the stage is limited and you have to crane your neck to get a good view. Nevertheless, the overall look and feel is nice and upscale, although not super-luxe.
