Dropped in for lunch
I used to have a VIP membership here. Wished I had went ahead and bought the lifetime. I am not in the area as much as I once was, therefore not a regular now and the lifetime would actually be more handy now. I was on a mad dash from Sherman to Arlington and back. Got to my destination with no traffic issues and was a little ahead of schedule. Took I-30, E to Loop 12, North on 12 to NW Hy, and west to the Lodge. Car knew the route. I walked in around 1:30. If you have not been there, building is impressive to walk up. There will be a Valet if you would like, but most park in their designated lot across the street. There is a bar directly in front of you when you enter, with the dance floor to the left. It is a cave that the dancers come out of. I continued into the next room that is called the Library. In the center of the Library is another dance platform. The dancers rotate from the main room to this stage. On the wall to the right is another bar. Most regulars seem to migrate to the Library, which is what I did. I was not busy, I have never seen it busy this time of day, but there was a probably 5 or 6 customers in the main room and a couple custies at the bar. In the Library there was 5 sitting at the bar and maybe twice that many sitting at tables. I ordered a crown and water ($8.50) and order a chicken sandwich with a fancy name. Guys , if you didn't know it, the food here is second to no-one. That is one of the reasons I stopped. Enjoy my meal, had a couple of drinks. Not a lot of dancers on the day shift, most or MILF types that have regulars. A Brazilian gal that has been a regular on the day shift forever kept circling. She stopped just after my third drink. Perfect. Went back to the main room, upper corner where she build a small fort, and proceeded to earn her keep. $20.00 a dance, 3 dances and I was headed back to Sherman smelling like a stripper with a small buzz and full belly!!
